人生重開始 簡單過生活

中國是韓國第一大出口國  第二大進口國這幾年中國熱  韓國人流行學中文  不過學的都是簡體   

受全球化的影響  我們這一輩人生的時空順序  比起爸媽那一輩  變化更多  挑戰更大  但是機會也增加 

March 1 is a national holiday in Korea, commemorating Korea's struggle for independence against the Japanese imperial rule.  My colleague and I started the day early by arriving at the National Museum of Korea (http://www.museum.go.kr/) at  9:30am.  Located 15 minutes on foot from my place in Seoul, it just opened at the current site last October, and is reportedly the sixth largest in terms of its building size.  We went though the historical gallery today, but I must say that it was interesting but not impressive.  Koreans are extremely proud of their country, and rightfully so when you consider how much they have struggled to stay independent despite being sandwiched between two bigger neighbors to the east and west--Japan and China.  However, its civilization has also been dwarfed by these two neighbors, so you find the artifacts that seem to be less refined versions from these two countries.  (Never say this to a Korean, though, unless you plan to get into a fight.) 

算算自20歲時  帶著一小筆獎學金和打工的積蓄  買了張環球機票花四個半月到處看看  做為大學結業的成年禮  轉眼自己一個人趴趴走的日子  也有十多年了   成為上班族後  出國旅遊的關鍵因素  就從金錢變成時間了  難怪以前有人告訴我  有時間時沒有錢玩  有錢時沒有時間玩  人生有時還真矛盾 

韓國經濟發展的特色，為家族掌控之大型財團，財團在韓國國內經濟體系中所扮演的角色，是多數外商進入韓國市場必須了解並面對的課題之一。

製造業前五大公司三星電子、現代汽車、浦項鋼鐵、樂金電子及鮮京，佔韓國製造業總產值的比重從2003年的34.5%，上升至2004年的42%，顯示韓國中小企業與大財團的差距愈加拉大。這固然是韓國競爭力來源，得以有充足的資金，進入資本門檻高的產業，但是亦帶來壟斷。即使在與民生息息相關的零售業，這些大財團的足跡亦隨處可見。三星集團與英國零售龍頭集團TESCO合資成立Homeplus量販店，在韓國市場排名僅次於新世界集團的E-Mart。樂金集團經營GS25便利商店，與7-Eleven及Family Mart，並列韓國前三大連鎖超商。現代集團經營的現代百貨，與樂天百貨及新世界百貨，並列韓國前三大百貨公司。

剛剛坐在首爾江南區(韓國的台北忠孝東路四段)的一家咖啡廳中  一口氣把十年後的台灣(http://www.books.com.tw/exep/prod/booksfile.php?item=0010291731)讀完。

作者楊照在自序中提到

서울대만무역센터에서 일하는데 작년 11월17일에 한국에 처음으로 왔어요.

視為理所當然的許多事 ，換個環境才發現，應該珍惜這些幸福。 對於韓國這幾年的發展，台灣無須崇拜，但是應該有所警惕。

沒有愛的勞動是奴役

即使台灣對韓國超過60億美元的貿易逆差，無法靠貿易推廣就能改善，今年貿易局仍將其列為重點業務之一，因此今年的業務量，是大多數駐點的好幾倍。加上從靜態的寫商情報導、出納會計，到動態的辦理參展、台灣產業推廣及台商貿易商談等活動，主管全都要我負責，所以我有時開玩笑說，外派首爾一年，該學的都學到了，可以考慮換工作了。

距離去(2004)年11月17日第一次來到首爾，轉眼即將滿一年了，工作之外的生活已上軌道。前些日子韓國朋友對我適應異鄉的能力感到驚訝，我半開玩笑解釋，我想我遺傳到台灣人到哪裡都能生存的「蟑螂」特質 吧﹗
