Present things are ours to enjoy but not to keep.
June 6 is a public holiday in Korea, so my bithday celebration started with a pajama party with 3 church friends the previous evening. In the morning, they made breakfast for me, with the traditional Korean birthday special-- sea weed soup, as well as with the traditional Western birthday special--brownie cake. My colleagues and I met for a movie at 11am, followed by a late lunch and a homemade cake. Up at 6am, I was pretty exhausted by the time I returned home at 6pm.
I feel very blessed to be surrounded by the love of so many. Thank you to all of you who have remembered my birthday.
